Broke down at 800m and fractured near fore, Side Step was euthanased on track 9th of September, 2001. . Tollgate, Hassass, Royal Fate and Key to the Door all fell over the fallen horse, they were all ok expect Tollgate, who pulled up acutely lame in his near hind leg. His status is unknown.
